Position – Mid-level / Senior lawyer

Main responsibilities

· Participation in multi-national projects of family office practice, i.e. restructuring, set up/liquidation of Russian and foreign structures (Cyprus, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Bermuda/Cayman Islands, BVI etc.), acquisition of assets of different nature, migration issues, investment funds, estate planning etc.;

· Communication/coordination with/of the project team composed of experts from various company’s departments (tax, finance, banking, real estate)

· Coordination of local advisors/service providers, if engaged within multi-national projects;

· Drafting of legal documents;

· Analysis of legislation and law enforcement practice in various jurisdictions;

· Drafting of proposals to clients on family office services;

· Preparation of alerts on changes in the sphere.

· Origination: looking for new clients, building own clients’ network

Requirements

· Law Degree (MSU / MGUA / MGIMO graduate preferred);

· 5-7 PQE (leading law firms, investment companies, multi or single family offices);

· Knowledge of deoffshorization program in Russia, i.e. CFC, tax free liquidation etc.;

· Experience of participation in complex multi-jurisdictional projects;

· Legal and Business English oral and written is a must;

· Client and service-oriented;

· Flexible / multitask.
